“Here is the situation, please read all before...
If you know anything about me at all, you know I LOVE animals. Contrary to popular belief, I’m not just a cat lady. I LOVVVEEE dogs too, I just don’t have one yet.
Whenever I’m away for longer than 24 hours I have a cat-sitter stop by to feed/pet/kive them. When I’m away from home for a longer period of time, I normally get a live-in sitter or the kitties have sleepovers at my...

"I stumbled on your tweets while I was in CR last...
I just received a very unexpected message in my facebook inbox from a gal named Phyllis who was in Montezuma around the same time Jingles and I should have been!
“I stumbled on your tweets while I was in CR last week. Yesterday while reading your blog I discovered that if not for your passport misadventures, we would likely have met each other. We were in Montezuma from 11/27 until 12/4...

"Keep your arms inside the boat if you want to...
As you all know by now, Jingles and I started our trip to Costa Rica by getting delayed in Miami because of passport issues. We decided to make the best of it, and take in some sights until we were able to talk to the Canadian embassy.
What’s the coolest thing you can do in Miami? See alligators!!!
We booked a tour to the everglades (I kept calling them the escalades) on Sunday. We rode...

You’ve seen the tweets, the facebook updates, and wondered “what the heck happened?!”
Well ladies and and gentlemen, without further adieu - part one of the saga that is our Costa Rica trip.
Jingles and I woke up very early on November 27th, filled with excitement and anticipation. We rolled into the airport taxi and headed to Pearson to catch our flight to Miami and on to San...
