Let them eat cake!
I know I’ve sorta fallen off the radar lately when it comes to my blog posts, but here I am! I’ve been very busy planning a birthday party for Jingles, and well - life happens sometimes.
There aren’t really many pictures to show from this past Saturday’s event, but there sure are some hilarious photos of the cake I wrangled for him.
First, there was a theme to the night (sorta). It was a combo of ‘beard’ mixed with ‘captain’ theme. Because, well - Jingles has a beard, and he has managed to convince Rogers that he is a captain so his bills come to Capt. *full name here*
That being said, I bought him a captain’s hat to wear throughout the evening, there was a ‘pin the beard on Jingles’ game and of course, the cake…
So the above pictures, are of the cake when it arrived to my office on Friday afternoon. This next picture is from an iPhone at the party, with the additional decorations we added. (1x grey hair made of coconut, sprinkled icing sugar referencing a day he ate powdered donuts and they got all in his beard, candles and of course a bottle of scotch.)
