What’s your badge of honour? (…on Foursquare)

I have noticed some negative Foursquare posts recently and really just wanted to bring back the love. First off, here are 5 (recent) Awesome Foursquare Facts:

  1. 10 million people currently use Foursquare
  2. 3 million check-ins occur each day
  3. 400,000 businesses use Foursquare as a marketing tool
  4. 78,387 venue mayors are ousted each day
  5. 358 million check-ins have occurred outside the United States

Okay, now back to me…still a Foursquare fan. I thought I would talk about my three favourite badges earned since my first check-in.

Dog’s Best Friend: “Woof! Woof woof 10 checkins @ dog runs woof woof woof 30 days woof woof! Woof!” — I am not a dog owner but am an avid dog stalker, dog sitter and dog lover!

Swimmies: “Hey now! That’s your 5th check-in near the water. Let’s hope this isn’t followed-up by unlocking our “Unlucky Shark Attack” badge.” — I got this baby over the weekend when I checked-in at Ashbridges Bay for the Heatwave Volleyball tournament. I love the copy :)

Sounds So Good: “From the Beatles to Bieber, you love music just as much as Ellen! Now kick back and enjoy the tunes!” — I follow the Ellen Degeneres Show on Twitter, this is how I unlocked this little gem last week at The Black Keys concert.

Here’s a list of all of my nerd flare. What’s your most coveted Foursquare Badge? *Looks at Rick Jessup*
